LA Works Earth Day Event a Huge Success!

This weekend in the City of Watts, California, bgreen  along with over 100 volunteers joined together to celebrate the Earth Day 2011, by transforming an empty lot to a beautiful community garden.  Our dedicated volunteer teams pulled weeds, picked up trash, built trenches and painted over graffiti stained walls. The end result was a very charming garden, where residents have reserved plots to grow fruits and vegetables.

It’s amazing to see what a great impact a small but dedicated group of people can have on the environment.  We are happy to have been a part in this amazing event and be able to give back to our community.
